So I just created a problem for myself the other day. We dropped our analog television service. So I shifted 4 channels from the 500mhz region down into the 200mhz region, saw the modems come back and no problem, less swing staying out of the high end so should be great right?
I've heard there is a firmware for the Arris TG1672 that upgrades the puma chip to do 24 or 32 channel bonding. Does anyone have experience or access to this firmware? It would be great to upgrade hardware we already have rather than sell/trash it.
Please send to farewell4950@yahoo.com if you have it.
Due to the large number of optical transmitters and receivers of the reverse channel, it became necessary to switch to an optical platform.
Please help me make a choice based on your experience.
Basic requirements:
1) Remote management and SNMP monitoring.
2) Optical transmitters 1310
3) Optical receivers, preferably with 4 independent return channels.
4) AC power supply
5) Availability on the secondary market
Using a UBR10K and NSG 9000 40G. I can't get the Depi tunnel to actually come up. I using what I thought was a very simple config just to get an understanding of how things work. I'm stumped. Have them connected directly together. Should be simple but I'm missing something obvious I'm sure.
I am trying to run Broadcast Video over Cisco cBR8 and unfortunately I have stucked on WAN side setup.
My setup is simple: got 2x DVB-C streams (multicasts) that I would like to "see" on RF Video QAMs behind CMTS.
DVB-C source works (mcasts are being sent towards cBR).
"RF side" config is done: VCG, SDG, LED, table (table based) is configured
But I can't see any traffic on video QAMs...
I got this task as our video guy has changed his job but I have never touched video...

Hi! We have some CM that when are in a 32 Channels bonding takes only one frecuency and when they are in 16 Channels works on bonding. Only happen with some cable modems and not all firmwares.
The CMTS is a CASA C10G.
We doesn't get the correct firmware from the original supplier, someone has any clue to try a workaround without configuring only 16 Channles?
Thanks!
PD: Sorry for me enligsh
