Currently I have STDD.01.31. I have wireless internet breakdowns. It looses connections when there are more then one connected device. It shows it is connected (shows bars on my smartphone, and all the lights are on on the modem), but it gives no internet. It gives exclamation mark beside bars. And LAN works, or atleast it did, now when I lose connection same way, I don't have it completely. Can you help? I think it is a software problem. Guys from cable says everything is ok with signal, cables, etc.
I've been testing the Technicolor DPC3848V and found that the DNS is auto set to "utopia.net" which appears to be due to some sort of hijacked firmware. (according to various websites)
Does anyone have firmware for the DPC3848 that does not contain this "DNS hijack"? currently running FW ver dpc3800-v3033r2042162-170223a.
Has anyone else seen this utopia.net DNS thing elsewhere?
Please send to farewell4950@yahoo.com
Thanks!
when I am changing the telnet password in a cm820a to snmp, this happens:
SNMPv2-SMI :: enterprises.4115.1.3.4.1.2.1.0 = STRING: "Invalid Pwd"
but when I try snmpset and put nu value it returns the value in "Invalid Pwd"
I have this message shown in logging periodically:
SLOT 7/1: May 20 04:56:20.700: %INTR_MGR-3-BURST: SLOT 7/1 - BCM3140 US PHY: BCM3140 Chan11 Error [15665354]
with this message all time:
SLOT 7/1: May 20 04:51:48.376: %UBR10000-5-USPHY_BAD_INTR: USPHY with physical channel 11 gets too many error interrupts
I read that cisco recommend power cycle this line card, but what should i do with %INTR_MGR-3-BURST, i can't find any info about BCM3140 US PHY
Why I can't set cable upstream max-ports to 0? It show me that valid values is from 1 to 8, but on another ubr10k i have following cfg and it's 0 in cable upstream max-ports on 8/0/4:
Hello
I've had too many issues with the Arris cm8200 and the need to change firmware too often. currently it's ofdm issues while other modem models are fine. I was thinking of Netgear cm1200, but wanted to see what others have experienced and recommend
Hello friends.
I want to ask you how I can increase my upload bandwidth for my cable modem, currently it only allows me to upload 2 Mbps. I want to increase it even to 4 Mbps to 6 Mbps. I have two MC16C targettas on my ubr 7240Xvr. Could someone give me a hint of how upload it to more than 2Mbps I will attach a fragment of my cmts configuration.
