Hello,
Is there a way to find out more information about ghost modems on a CMTS? I have a CMTS that is showing some ghost modems and i am not able to locate where those modems might have been or are now. a command that shows that mac address would help.
And what ideas do you have about clearing those ghost modems?
we upgraded the firmware to appImage_20113PRRU.bin. and after that we faced a problem. the problem is that with multiple clients connected to a modem, when one client starts downloading, the others do not get any bandwidth.
then we downgraded to bsr1000r_12004PRR.bin and the problem we face now is that we get input error on our RF interface and also on our ethernet interface.
here is the config

I have a BSR64k and when I enable baseline privacy in my cable modem config files I get a ton of RF Errors In on just 2 brands of modems. The two modems are the Linksys CM100 and a Remstream. If I disable baseline privacy the errors go away. My average RF Errors In per second is around 2,000. These 2 modems represent a very small percentage of my total modems.
Hey, i'am newbie in cmts and i some minor knowledge about this, so i made a initial configuration and my modem logs is here, so please give me some newbie explanation, i tried to set-up the docsis server on ubuntu, but not lucky, so i configure manual dhcp and tftp and configure to work with bsr1000, here it the logs:
700101000155 7-Information CMTS Registration - FAILED
700101000155 4-Error REG: CM Sends REG-NAK, Error Code 205.
700101000155 3-Critical I251.3 Registration RSP rejected unspecified reason
700101000155 4-Error REG: No active CoS/Service Flow in REG-RSP
I need create 4 flow, 2 for internet and 2 for my network (mailserver, voip, etc). Downstream flow work fine but not upstream flow, always match with flow for internet (64K). where I wrong?
