I wanted to be able to set up a service flow or whatever it would be so that I would be able to poll modem information from a management server but not have the customer's current usage affect my ability to pull info.
We currently just have a single service flow set up for whatever the customer's level of service is. This becomes an issue when they are using a ton of upload and I am unable to poll the modem.
We are running a Motorola BSR64000 app 6.4.2.3 bootrom 6.0.0.52
I'm looking for SNMP oid for Motorola SBG6580 cm. I want to disable telnet/ssh access on IPV6.
By default, the access is disabled on ipv4 address but on ipv6 I can log in to the modem.
I tried to disable it with this oid, but it only work for ipv4:
1.3.6.1.4.1.1166.1.19.3.6.3.0 x 0x00
We have a Cisco CNR 8.1 and it will be upgraded to 9.1. We would like to have each customer modems start session times, end session times and interim update times on the network. I would like to know if there is any way to pull that information directly from the CNR? If yes, where and how? If not, is it achievable? and how? Right now, we are able to obtain start lease and end lease times and with the help of these numbers, we use a script to calculate the interim update and session stop times. However, the numbers do not seem to be accurate and the method is not that effective.
I'm working on writing my own remote real-time spectrum-analyzer using SNMP. Today the company I work for uses a third party tool powered by 'Nimble This'. We have a combination of Cisco 10ks and 7200s, even one with an NPE-G1, so I don't believe 'Nimble This' uses the docsisIf3Mib.
I'm trying to poll average Pre-Eq data on a per upstream basis. Does anyone have experience polling this information directly from the CMTS? I had varied results with a few different OIDs.
I'm looking for some assistance configuring my first MTA in the lab. I have a ubr7111 CMTS and have successfully configured it to allow modems to join and have data services working with a variety of different modems.
However, I have recently acquired an Arris TM602G and wish to try to get it to register to an Asterisk SIP server. I believe the TM602G already has the SIP firmware installed, but since I acquired it second hand I do not know for sure. It shows firmware TS060460_101717_MODEL_6_SIP_PC20 in the web interface.
I have a strange problem with cable interfaces - txload is 255/255 on all 6 interfaces. Upload speed is 7M maximum but download is good.
CMTS is 7246 with 3 MC88V cards.
I am completely stuck with this because upload speeds are very low. Here is a sh int output and configuration output.
