I'm testing Eurodocsis 3.0 modem (Broadcom-based) and tried provisioning it for the first time, and I have a number of issues: the modem not goes online.
Finally it got DHCP, ToD, TFTP, IP address, but 'Network access: not allowed'. Config file used contains a lot of incorrect TLV-11 as it intended for another modem (from another vendor), but for some reason they use it as generic config for other modems too, and it worked (for Ubee for example).
Here is part of logs: https://pastebin.com/raw/Z4u45Zbr
config file:
Check my case is that I had the CNR version 6.0 installed, my server was damaged and my CD cd installation of CNR 6.0 was made to lose, someone here has the Setup to install it, that can share me, in the same way if they need the license of the CNR6.0 I would share them with you.
and try to find the version on the internet but can not find the version of CNR6.0
Hello, World!
I am sure the world is asking this question. And I need your help so we can pass this knowledge on to the future forever. Here is the MOST FAQ of all time:
HOW MANY SUBSCRIBERS DOES THIS MODEM CARD (MC) SUPPORT?
(example MC: Cisco UBR-MC88V, Cisco UBR-MC20X20V-20D, Cisco UBR-MC3GX60V w/ 72DS/60US license)
Please only answer this question if you are an experience CMTS tech/Engineer only. Give us your best answer. Perhaps, we are asking the wrong question.
We have run into an issue where the router behind a cable modem can't renew its dhcp lease or loses it WAN ip address. Some of our techs have figured out that they can just unplug and reconnect the ethernet cable that runs between the modem and the CPE router and the router will instantly grab an IP and be online. We used to reboot the modems and the routers but recently our guys have been trying this and it seems to work. Arris and our provisioning software company aren't much help. Has anybody run into anything like this?
