I know RGB promised a future update would bring M-CMTS functionality to the USM100 edge QAM, but I can't actually find any mention of the feature actually being implemented. We have an older software version, 2.0.x and were hoping someone with a newer release would know when it was implemented
Also, in the sysconf I can see a variable referencing the DTI port, but there's obviously no DSchannel-ID config variable per qam in this version.
sysGlobalDTIClockEnable.0 = INTEGER: disable(0)
So I have done a lot of changes, reducing upstream power, monitoring frequencies etc but I still have an issue, is it a modem type? I have finally gotten all modems/upstreams to docsis 2.0, but I have modems that come online, bond, then reboot, on the same node I have rock solid modems. Here is one modem I cannot get to stay online, it locks and then reboots.. This is our cleanest plant in apartments and yet.. it won't stay on... so wtf?
As many are aware there are cli commands on most CMTSs & CCAP devices that provide remote-query channel information from registered modems. An output example from a docsis 3.0 (4x4) related modem is directly below.
I'm interested in seeing similar output info involving a docsis 3.1 modem. How are the OFDM channels listed in the output for FREQ, SNR & POWER fields?
See screenshot picture due to formatting issues with text output,
We got some used D-LINK DCM-704 D3 cable modems, and i would like to solve it to MTA work.
But i did not get it MTA SNMP mibs, i did not find it on the Internet either.
Could someone show me a MTA sample config?
Thank you!
So I have been working on this for a few weeks, done a lot of reading through the forums, read a lot of mbowe's posts and have things sort of working but I have a lot of questions. I also converted to docsis load-balancing which seems to have given me some problems. The main problem is now I have random modems that worked before but now sync then reboot and the states are odd and nowhere to be found on the internet...
I try to create 500Mbit/s+ access with an Arris TG2492S and Motorola BSR64000 (SRM10, ver 8.1.0.1) combo.
With the modem config below I can reach only 100-200Mbit/s. If I set Max.Sust to zero the maximum is about 300-350Mbit/s. I tried to play with bursts but no significant effect.
