I've recently had a hot potato dropped in my lap and I hope someone here can help me.

I work for a small company that built cable modems into electrical meters for a customer several years ago. Now the customer wants to do BPI+ with these modems and the original team didn't create any certificates for the firmware that was developed.

I have access to the firmware images that were compiled and parts of the original source, but I have no idea how to get from there to creating a Manufacturer CVC. Are there any tools available to do this?

Hi everyone... I have a docsis 2.0 implementation with a uBR7200 CMTS
in my work and i like to know if it possible implementing both
packetcable and docsis.

I have a asterisk voip server running for my docsis platoform, but i want to implement voice ip on packetcable.

It is possible put to work both plataforms together?

Hi, everyone

I'm experiencing a weird problem. Arris cable modems have an internal web page http://192.168.100.1 where you can connect when cable modem is not online.
When I'm connecting from linux or windows xp, everything works like a charm. I get a 192.168.100.2 IP address from cable modems dhcp server and then can navigate to http://192.168.100.1. However with windows7 it is not the case. Arris cable modem wouldn't give me an IP address. Even If I configure an IP staticly I still can't connect.

Does anyone have enable ipv6 on cable modem? I added a IPv6 address in the cable-mac and the CPE, but I can't ping each other.
For now, I don't want to allocate a IPv6 address on the modem (I want to use IPv4). Does anyone have any experience?

Anyone using the C2200 or other CASA products - could you please share with us your use case and how well does CASA do the job? Does it work reliably, are there software bugs, is documentation detailed and correct, etc. etc.

I want to test Upstream packet filtering using Upstream drop classifiers. I have never used this before and always have used IP filters instead. Could someone please let me know what are the TLVs to include in order to configure in the CM config file.

Also I read about it and it said that it needs to be configured on the CMTS also. I am using BSR 64K. Does it support the feature? If so, could you please let me know what are the commands to be used for testing Upstream Drop classifiers?

I want to know the difference between load and performance testing.

i have DPC2100R2 SW_REV: v2.0.2r1242 cable modems that came online once but if you reset it, it will came in a fake online state, i have a terayon cmts BW Software Version: 4.1.6.0.5, i think maybe if i change the firmware it will work, but i tried to contact cisco, no results any ideas?

I wonder if someone could post a config file for DPC 2203. I have this device for testing the MTA part and the modem stays in online blinking which I think is not responding, so I think is a DOCSIS part issue.
