I want my modems to get ip's from this range 10.197.0.0\
but this message is killing me i don't know what is the problem.
Below is my dhcpd.conf .
allow unknown-clients;
ddns-update-style none;
option domain-name "dhcpd";
option domain-name-servers 100.0.0.1, 100.0.1;
option routers 10.190.15.254;
option time-servers 10.248.0.253;
#------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
subnet 10.248.0.0 netmask 255.255.255.0 {
}
subnet 10.197.0.0 netmask 255.255.240.0 {
range 10.197.0.1 10.197.14.255;
option domain-name-servers 100.0.0.1, 100.0.0.1;
option routers 10.197.15.254;
option tftp-server-name "10.248.0.253";
server-name "10.248.0.253";
option broadcast-address 10.197.15.255;
default-lease-time 86400;
max-lease-time 86400;
next-server 10.248.0.252;
option time-offset -25200;
option time-servers 10.248.0.253;
}
host 1 {
hardware ethernet 00:1b:dd:98:03:1e;
fixed-address 10.197.0.1;
filename "512.cfg";
}
Any idea from you i will appreciate it very much.
Thank you.
if all dhcp request are orginated from the same GI address (10.248.0.252) mayby you should use shared network and if you using static host declaration I would suggest to get rid of range 10.197.0.1 10.197.14.255
