working on setting up a home lab with no support.
i have a cmts docsis 3.0 allready and have the docsis side allready configured and appears to be working but am running into issues with the MTA side of the house.
i have setup option 122.1 and 122.3 and 122.6(BASIC.1) but im not seeing the dhcp request from the modem am i missing anything?
UBR10K 8x4, in the network D 2.0 and D 3.0 modems.
When assigning a slot for transmission to the D 3.0 modem, all 4 US channels will be allocated, and for the D 2.0 modem only one US channel. When assigning a slot to a D 2.0 modem on one US channel, can CMTS assigned slot to another D 2.0 modem on another US channel?
I have one challenge at the moment is that I'm interested to know the SNR in a OFDMA interface but I don't find it yet, I do found the oid for upstream but it doesn't include ofdma .1.3.6.1.2.1.10.127.1.1.4.1.5.{ifindex}
Is there any oid for OFDMA? also looking the same for corrected and uncorrected codewords
Does somebody have a working IPv6 setup with BSR64000? I am trying to set up, however the lack of documentation is a great problem. The router seems to support it, I can bring up addresses on it's interfaces, I can ping those addresses, however I did not figure out, how to attach a proper DHCPv6 helper.
Now, I would not mind running IPv6 DHCP and RA on the BSR itself, if it is possible, either.
Please, if you have a working config, dare to share :) Thanks in advance!
is there any way to tune latency for customers connected to casa c100g cmts via docsis 3?
There is around 20ms latency what is quite a lot (someone say that is normal) but i want to know if there isnt any way to tune the latency to reach 4-5ms stable?
Sometime i can see pings around 4-7 ms but most pings are in 15ms - 22ms range.
Thankx a lot
Been a member of this board for a long time, and have never posted anything like this, but thought it may be of use to many on here.
I will be on a webinar panel this week on Thursday, that is pertinent to those on here:
