I am searching for any links, experiences or materials describing the problem with DHCP rebindings problems of clients. The DHCP broadcast works fine, only unicast DHCP request is not working as it should.
Has anyone had any success bonding 32 SC-QAM + 2 OFDM and achieving 2Gb+ download speeds? I am seeing poor download performance when testing this setup. If we bond just 2 of these channels in any combination, 2Gb+ speeds are achieved. Testing has been done on an Arris TG9452 and Hitron 5x1x modems with various firmware revisions with the same results. This has been tested on 2 different version of Harmonic CMTS (containerized and non-containerized) to Harmonic RPHY nodes in the lab with 2K and 4K modulations at the modems.
Does anyone have the latest firmware for the Hitron CGN and CGNVMs, along with MIBS and Provisioning Manuals? Also, does anyone know if the Arris DG3450/TG3452 will shut off it's modem and operate as just a eRouter?
I am looking for Arris Touchstone TM902S firmware TS0710120_072111_EU_MODEL_9_TM902_sto.bin or newest version.
Can anybody post it please? laguna-mc at mail.com
Does anyone remember the commands to do an upstream snr analysis on a cisco CMTS? There used to be a windows utility here somewhere that would show the live SNR at the cmts but for the life of me I can't find it.
The original command I remember was
show controller cable6/0 upstream 0 spectrum 5 55 3
But this doesn't seem to work on the ubr10k revision I have.
I have a PRE4 with IOS 122-33.SCH5 and I'm trying to create 16x bonding groups that cross the 24 frequency section of the 72/60 card. From all the advice and examples provided on this site, I believe I have a working config below but I'm not getting bonding on wideband 5/1/0:10 or wideband 5/1/0:11 even when I shutdown the rest of the wideband interfaces. Wideband 5/1/0:9 works fine. I'm not sure if this is IOS version or not since it allows the commands I need. I'm using a Harmonic 6G gateway if that is relevant. Any advice would be great.
Hi, i see Station maintenance in modulation profiles is in QSPK. QPSK is a very robust modulation and the cable modem will stay online down to a MER of around 12 dB, but subscriber data (shown in a-short and a-long) is transmitting at 64-QAM. The CMTS could report, via station maintenance that the modem looks just fine due to robust QPSK, but not for 64QAM.
Isn't it better to set the STATION to 16QAM to have a real idea of the health of my network?
I guys, i have CASA C40g ,I currently analyzing a problem I have with an upstream physical port where when enabling the ingress cancellation command, the FEC and SNR corrections go crazy, with jumps from SNR 10 to 42 and uFEC more than 15%. If I disable this option everything is normal.
Question, will I have damaged the hardware related to noise cancellation in that physical port or is it something software?
