first of all i would like to greet you all, may be this forum can answer my queries, as of now we are using bsr100 the problem we got is at any given time cm's are de-registered at cmts. have you experience this with MOTOROLA BSR1000

Hi all!

First of all I am quite unexperienced with all this so I would really appreciate
any kind of tips,suggestion from you guys.

We are runing BSR1000 CMTS with Motorola 5101e modems on the network with no problems and now
testing Coship CCM6220 cable modems but unsucessfully. Coship gets stuck on dhcpdiscover dhcp(d)
and then restarts scaning DS and US.

Can you give mi some hints what should I look in to to try make this work.

My company purchased a cmts 1000 and was wondering if someone could point me into the right direction for info on how to set this up and get it working? I have been able to set some commands but others I can't seem to figured out where to set them. Like setting the DHCP server ip address, where do you set that at?

I have installed a fresh copy off Mandriva 2007 and then I try to run make to set up DOCSIS server. The message I get is:

Please Help me!!!!

We are a small ISP with 30 customers and we have to change from mmotorola to arris.
We've bought a nortel cmts 1000.
With motorola I just have to configure the CM-IpSpace and the CPE IpSpace and the dhcpserver.
Inside the dhcp we are doing the provisioning.
I think arris can do the same!
Could annyone please help me to get the arris configured or paste here a sample?
I looked inside the CLI and configured the IP Adress. I've updated the software to 3.6.2 but now I couldn't set the routing and the IP settings for the modems and the cpe's.
