Looking for a way to locate which cable interfaces in bulk ips are on. Looking to move from one chassis to another and need to locate all Static ips by cable interface so i know which to move.
Hello.
I am just wondering why sub-bundle interface is using on CMTS and how CMTS recognize the ip subnet in sub-bundle interface.
Any valuable answer for this will be highly appreciated.
I was researching in the forum, but couldn't find the specific information.
I need to prevent access from the customers into the modem config interface in order to disable administration options like set a static IP address. Just left open the diagnostics page.
One of the modems we typically use is the cisco dpc2325 but we also have Motorola and others.
Do you know some generic modem config to do this?
I'm trying to set up a 8 DS WB Channel on a MC20x20 card. I currently have 4 DS WB working. Can someone give me an example of how to make an 8 DS one? Thanks.
I need to setup an UBR7246VXR to support static IP designation on the customer side for built in modem/routers. The modem will use a dynamic IP for the provisioning side, but the IP that will use for the built in router should be an static IP.
I need some help setting up a Cisco UBR7246VXR equipped with 2 MC28U in bridging mode in order to replace an old Arris C3.
The current model that I need is the same of the attached image.
Do you know if it is possible to do this and how to do it?
I currently have a ubr7246vxr with 4x MC28U line cards. I'm currently running two sets of 4 downstreams, one to each laser. I'm getting a second cmts as we have outgrown this one alone. we are running up to 95-98% utilization on downstream ports and seeing some issues from that. I'm seeing a lot of t3 timeouts and modem reboots during peak traffic with no other explanation. returns are clean, SNR > 30db on all ports.
