Hi,

I am using DOCSIS 3.0 CMTS, some modems are showing 2 US ,some only one.
Is there any problem with modems showing only one US? pls suggest

Im currently using CentOS 7, but I don't know how this docsis server works in a linux.
By the way Im newbie in linux OS.

Im new at working cmts can someone help me to configure our CMTS to work.
We already make the CM to be online and its status is operational but it still doesn't have a internet connection.

I want to deploy internet on an 45 floors tower over coaxcable. The coax cable have been already deployed for tv but not for internet by a german cable provider. This works fine.

They installed the cables with many splitters, it seems that any destination does have at least one of it. Is it possible to have there a working back channel?

does anyone have an idear how to inject my docsis signal at about 700 to 800 Mhz into a tv signal from a cable provider? I think I also must filter out there signal in this range... Any idear?

Dear forum,

is it possible to force a D3.0 Modem to use a specific Downstream Bonding Group available on a fiber node? I assume this would be vendor based, we primarily use Cisco EPC3212. Are you aware of any TLV or other config file options for Cisco? I know about generic "Downstream Frequency" setting in confilg file but read about problems with DS bonding in case you use it. Is it probably possible via DHCP vendor option 43?

But it doesn't have any internet connection.

we bought a ubr7246VXR with MC88 card on gray market to implement D3 on our network. But after 60 days, the card shut off. After investigation, i saw the licence was expired.

But if i read on cisco, the licence was not apply on MC88V card. How i can fix that asap and put it back on ?

my first post so be gentle. I'm currently working with isc-dhcp server and docsis 3.0/emta gateway from arris and compal and I'm looking for a configuration variable to enable SNMP over lan.
I've searched the forum but cannot find anything concrete. is this going to be a private mib or is it a standard docsis feature?
