I have a motorola BSR64000 which was removed the enable password 7 lines and enable secret 5
Now when I try to get as reports enable authentication failure
how can access the privileged mode without these lines?
We bought a new ubr7246vxr with a Mc88V card. As soon i'm trying to configure it. I always lost the command prompt and the config mode exist automaticly and return it at the prompt.
Anyone know why ?
I'm running the IOS Version 12.2(33)SCE should be fine for no ?

Just used Motorola SB5101 Diagnostic modem to troubleshot some network issues. One of Debug Flags command named "Canned Registration": "If 1, DHCP, TOD, TFTP will be bypassed and canned registration will be used". Can anybody explain what is "canned registration"?
Have anyone tested passing vlans inside a cable modem that is tagging another vlan. For example a CM is tagging vlan 100 and I want to pass vlan 50 inside it. Is there any configuration needed in the config file because it is not working?
We have a couple of costumer that travel a lot and are requesting to be able to use their modem in multiple locations (cmts).
example of the configurations. Each node has different shared secret (authorization strings). The question is: what is preventing his modem from going online in both places?
