Need help, how to get D3 Modem Status (w-online state) by SNMP query? (and any others status of Docsis 3 Modem etc signal of each qam, frekuensi of list channel), I am running Cisco CMTS uBr 10K MC2020 with Modular QAM, My Modem is Cisco DPC3828, DPC3008, If you have an examples please share the config file and snmp query command.
I am trying to figure out what would be the best power settings for an Arris 1000 CMTS. I currently have it set to 550W which I found from an older config in another Arris 1000 CMTS. I was just curious what the max power setting would be.
I wonder what are some real features of a PCMM architecture. What I want to know is if somebody has a real experience with this architecture (beyond telephony). For instance, if it is possible to offer a differentiated service based on time (e.g. 1 Mbps at peak-time and 5 Mbps at non-peak-time) (I'm not sure if PCMM only allows to control service flows based on PORT-IP, or if there is a limit of gates that can be open simultaneously). Another example could be in terms of gaming experience, how do I manage the application server to grant bandwidth for a gamer, etc...
I would like to query the Mta port(s) link status via SNMP (Thomson, Cisco,...)
(Whether it is plugged into the Tel1 or Tel2 port or not...)
I know the following oids: ifAdminStatus and ifOperStatus, but i think that
in this case the ifOperStatus does not show the corresponding value.
Despite of i pull out the phone cable from the Tel1 port, the ifOperStatus
does not change, it show that it is "up"!
Then i found the ifConnectorPresent oid, but that is constant shows that "false".
Any suggestions?
