I'm setting up a simple network in our lab to experiment with an eRouter running in dual-stack mode.

Anybody here use Incognito DHCP for their MTA's?

We still use Innomedia phone modems and the word I've received is that they don't sell well, and thus are being discontinued. So I am in need of getting the MTAs to the point of functional.

If there's anyone that can send me a general Incog layout, where what configs go, etc. Incognito support is only helpful if you understand the context. I'm the DOCSIS guy here, and not the phone guy. The phone guy won't react to a problem until its too late and we're in a crisis. Trying to beat the punch.

Hi guys. We installed a new ubr7k2 and some modems not getting online, stuck on init(rc). Ds signals good (40snr), and us bit wrog but its ok to register (22-28snr)

Turned on debug on the modem not registering and getting this message:

Dear, I am trying to install a new 20x20 card in slot 5/0 in a cmts ubr10k with pre-4 and I am not able to activate it. The LEDs on this card turn green on POWER, off on STATUS and orange on MAINT. So I've seen that means the board is not being powered. I've tried all the commands below without success.

- CMTS_uBR10K_Tub#cable power on 5/0
Line Card 5/0 is POWERED ON

- CMTS_uBR10K_Tub#hw-module subslot 5/0 reset

- CMTS_uBR10K_Tub(config)#no hw-module subslot 5/0 shutdown

I have CMTS uBR10000 (PRE2-RP), version 12.2(33)SCE5 and had to reload it. AFter restarting it , the card ubr10k-clc-mc2020v is stucking in loading and cannot finish loading. I received the logs below

Could you help me please,

Using OID, I need to block GUI and Telnet access to Cable modems. Only allow this access to a specific network segment.

for example:
Allow GUI to 10.10.10.0 255.255.255.0
Allow Telnet to 10.10.10.0 255.255.255.0
Block GUI to all
Block Telnet to All.

The cable modem is Thomson DWG855 and Technicolor TC7300, especially CM with Chipset "BROADCOM"

Hello everyone.
I am trying to provision default wifi settings on cable modem Thomson TWG870.
We are using arris c4 cmts.
The problem is that when i add mibs to config file modem stucks at DhcpV4Done. No cpe address, no mta address
Where could be the problem?

I'm managing a UBR7246VXR chassis and I have a question. I want to install two UBR-MC88V, one of them configured with D3.0 (Annex B) and the other one with D3.0(Annex A). Is there any problem to do this or in the same chassis is mandatory to use the same annex in all the cards.
