Can someone give me an advice how to recovery my forgotten password on both supervisor level and factory level. At the moment I can not use the command “bootCfg” to configure my C3 cmts in the startup procedure. If I remember correctly I set the same passwords on booth levels but I forgot it.
I am about to start a project for wireless internet at 2.5 GHz. The DS will be in the MMDS band, 2600 MHz. We are aklready providing digital wireless cable TV in that band. The CPE Upstream is 2170 to 2182. I have to use some trunking radios to get the upstream back from some remote locations, as these go through many hops. Trunking is at 8 GHz. One concern I have is the use of AGC on these trunking radios, to ensure that the upstream levels to the CMTS at the headend are reasonably constant.
Does anyone have a cure for echo on a docsis phone system? I use Arris TM402Ps, a CMTS 1500, Asterisk and a VoIP provider that is the same as my T1 provider so the network is fine. The upstream SNR is 34.9db. I have this old lady that says she hears her own voice. Believe me, I'm not ruling out mental illness either. Could it be the phone?
I have configured my CMTS BSR1000 below you can see my start-up config but i have one problem non of modems do connect to connect to BSR , i have tried all modems , Motorola , Scientific Atlanta , Thomson , but none of them worked.
In every modem when i log in to see the logs i get every time this error : " SYNC Timing Synchronization failure - Failed to acquire QAM/QPSK symbol timing "
Want to point one more thing here in Motorola Modem i only have a flash light at recive and never going below to send.
I was wondering what factors determine which upstream card a modem connects to. Say I have an Arris C3 with two physical upstream cards and of course a downstream. All are mixed into the cable network at the same point. I understand that you can specify the upstream channel in the config file, but if you don't do that do they all just go to the first card?
