Cruising through the forum posts would indicate a couple of
approaches are applied for modem port filtering and I'm
wondering what is the easiest and most effective, or in the
most wide spread use.
Of particular interest would be filters on the ethernet interface
to block rogue DHCP activity such as network printers, NAT
devices wired up incorrectly (backward), and the genius who
thinks it would be cool to set up his own DHCP server. Also
on the e-net side would be filtering for intrusive SNMP activity
on 161 and 162.
Looking in the cmts I found the following command.

The question is:
Is normal those values? I think are a little bit high isn't? What is the recommended temperature for operating the device?
Can somebody send me the lines written in dhcp configuration file for option 123 and option 124. option 123 pass primary and secondary dss id for eUE ipv6?
Can someone paste a cm config file or tell me what to add to my CM config files to change the community string read and write access from public to "some_password". Thanks!

Does anyone have a quick way to turn on call forwarding in the Arris EMTAs? I'm using Asterisk and I need to be able to let people dial *72, *73 etc.... Is it just the digit map?
