Hi

as anyone setup NAT directly in a ubr10k CMTS ?

we are looking at this to lower public ipv4 utilization

I saw some posts saying it uses a lot of cpu so it could not be done to a large number of cpe

But it did not state exactly how much cpu it use and how many cpe could be in the NAT.

Does anyone have the ubr10k2-k8p6u2-mz IOS ?

We currently have ubr10k2-k9p6u2-mz.122-33.SCF.bin

But we want to test something that require "IP Plus"

We have the "IP Plus" in our 7246 IOS but not in the ubr10k IOS

Anyone has experience and possibly MIBs and SIP FW for the Ubee EVW320B / EVW3200 modem (same thing)?
From what snmpwalks shows me, I think Ambit MIBs could work, so I think I need this arch:
iso.3.6.1.4.1.4684

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Hello we are looking to test our RX48 cards and need to upgrade our IOS to do so. Anyone have a more current boot loader out there? (we have 5.0 and need 6.0) We have the image, need the boot rom.

I need some assistance. I have a customer that is off a fiber node (only 2 customers off the node and no way to easily combine onto another node) that recently went offline and no other modems will connect. The other customer is connecting just fine. I have a Trilithic 1G DSP meter and I cannot get the cm on the meter to connect, it will get the DS signal, but will not range to the upstream frequency. Funny thing is, I even tried it on the other customer's drop (the one that is online) and it won't connect. I take it to any other drops on different nodes and no issues.

personal I have the following scenario

- 2 cmts cisco ubr7246vxr

- I provide private IP for most "CPE" and public ip to only the subscribers that need

- For private ip have a deafult route to the firewall and route-map for public ips to the link router

- I have 6 optical nodes in cmts 1 and I have to transfer 3 nodes for cmts 2

We've starting having issues with one of out 10k CMTSs. Over the past week SNMP has been spotty but the CPU utilization isn't above 50%. We detected a few drops in traffic and after troubleshooting we found that 1 of the 10k line cards would crash. I looked through the logs and see a lot of errors with slot 5/0 talking to the PRE. I'll attach the tail of the logs before the card crashes.

Has anyone succeeded in configuring a stable 2 gigs etherchannel between a ubr10k and a cisco switch

We have tried several hardware and we cannot get a viable solution

we tried the

The best we could do is have a working etherchannel if we configure it after a reboot and we lose it if we reboot

this is cisco issue CSCsx46105

we have tried

SPA-5X1GE-V2
and
ESR-HH-1GE

if not what solution did you use to go over 1gig of data ?
