Hi all.
We have few BSR64000 deployed in our network. Currently we are having an issue where when we login using SSH, the response time is very very slow: for example when we issue command like show cable modem | i xxxx (last 4 digit cm mac id). We were told that it is actually a "memory-leak" issue and to solve this, we need to upgrade the image to the latest one. Its been running for no issue for 1 year plus only to have this "memory-leak" issue.
Our current image version: 7.1.1P33
Any input on how to solve this issue without upgrading the image/firmware is very much appreciated.
Thanks!
double check the cpu, if you run allot of snmp for example, it will show things down.
run show proc slot slot 7 and near the bottom right, see what you have for free %. it should be over 60% for example. run it a few times. snmp can take up over 40% of the cpu depending what your running and how often
Check an recheck DNS and/or /etc/hosts settings. Could cause alike problems. Make all IP adresses resolvable.
