What is the proper syntax, or address/mask combo for the SNMP Transport Address fields? I'm trying to secure modems on my network by altering the SNMP community strings. I see that in the DOCSIS3 modems there are fields to control the transport address. One Fields is asking for "address" indicated the response should be "address/port", the other "address mask" is requesting similar response.
should the "Transport Address" field look something like this:
172.16.100.10/161 (where 161 is UDP/TCP 161)
or
172.16.100.10/32 (where 32 is netmask)
We want to create a service flow for Cable Modem management where all cable modem management traffic goes through this service flow and does not affect data traffic.
We have added a new service flow but when pinging the modem management IP from a remote management server to the CM it does not seems to be going through this management service flow.

What DHCP server do you use in provisioning your modem with SQL database back-end? beside in docsis_server (https://github.com/bschirrmeister/docsis_server), im currently searching for DHCP with SQL back-end and I see the ISC kea but I cant see any example using this DHCP, anyone with suggestions?
I´m new to DOCSIS 3.0/3.1 and I have an uBR7246VXR which should be run in docsis 3 mode ! I went through forums already and compared to other router configs but somehow no modem will go online in Docsis 3 mode . Here is my config maybe someone can help me out a bit . Btw I disabled the load balance at the moment cause the modems currently running in DOCSIS 2.0 mode start to switch between frequencies .Thanks in advance !
