Shouldn't I be seeing active packetcable gates when a eMTA is off hook or when a call is initiated? I see that we have multiple service flows configuring on the CM config (a set for data, and a set for NCS signaling). When a eMTA is picked up, I assume DQOS kicks in and builds the UGS service flows. I would assume CMS acts as policy enforcer to tell the CMTS/eMTA to build the UGS service flow. Am I wrong to assume that a packetcable gate should then be created? Is this because we have packetcable vanilla configured on the CMTS?

i added a classifier and i have associated to a service flow in the config file in order to limit the bandwidth for a specific protocol , but it didn't work , i ask have i missed something else to activate my qos rule ?

Anybody have current firmware for these SMC Networks modem models?

In the past I did a lot of test using splitters with Docsis 2 modems and directly connected to the CMTS (of course with good padding). I try to do the same thing with 2 Arris CM820 D3 modems but only 1 goes on line well, the other stays in init(r)...rf issue. I tried changing splitter for directional coupler still the same problem. I also use a diplex filter on the CMTS side.
Does anyone knows how to fix it?

I'd like to use the 2 analog lines on a Arris TM602G (DOCSIS 2 CM/MTA with battery),
with SIP firmware. (ARRIS-SIP-MIB)

I'm using the Asterisk 11.13.1 server from Debian, running on UDP port 5060.

When I use the same login and password for both port, it works most, but not all the time.
(I can make calls from both lines, but the second line doesn't always ring when called.)

Does any one have a config for the above. IE I want a modem to lock on 1 downstream only.
I think its in the "cable loadbalance-" commands but I don't have the full commands to do this.

Hi we have a system that are using Cisco modem 3928 and we have a DOCSIS fil for that but we can´t get the Thecnicolor modem to work. we havn´t made Docis file before. what shall we change in the DOCSIS fil so it can work together whit the Cisco modem

What are the bonding limitations of used DOCSIS 3.0 CMTS systems?

For example, on a Cisco 10K, can you do 24x8 or 32x8 groups? What about on a UBR 10K? Or a UBR7246VXR or UBR7225VXR?

I am looking for something that can do more than a 16x4 1U CMTS that I can buy new for around $4000 from someone like Pico Digital.

I know there are lots of used CMTS on ebay and similar places, but I am not sure which models and cards can do more than a 16x4 configuration.
