I am trying to copy a config via tftp onto a NPE-G2 processor which is pretty standard, although there is one catch.
I do not have any MC88V cards whos' interfaces are implemented by the config and this gives me a long list of "invalid input at ^ detected"
Is there any way to force this config onto the card as a startup-config without the cards being present?
Does anyone have a pcap trace of a DHCP session between the CM and the DHCP provisioning server for either docsis 2.0 or docsis 3.0?
We are working on a new DHCP server implementation to provision the CM. Several CM DHCP client implementations are reporting that a critical field is invalid, but no additional details are provided. A successful DHCP exchange would help us debug this further.
Here is a CloudShark trace of our current exchange. The CM appears to reject the final DHCPACK and restart.
Finally convinced them to to RX48's over the 2x8 cards for the BSR. I do not have them yet, but wanted to get some things figured out before the big day arrives.
I want to set two TX32's to a single RX48. Each bonding group attaching to a physical port on the RX48.
Is it possible to do this?
End result:
HSIM-1
TX32-1
Bonding Groups 0,1,2,3
RX48-1
Physical Ports 0,1,2,3
HSIM-2
TX32-2
Bonding Groups 4,5,6,7
RX48-1
Physical Ports 4,5,6,7
Hi, i've set up a lab with a UBR10k, a ISC DHCPv6 server, and i'm using modems Ubee DW3201B, i'm having trouble getting it workin. the modem get stuck on init6(a), my dhcp is sending relay-reply messages to the cmts, and the cmts is sending the advertise messages to the modem, but it doesn't seem to work.
We are trying to send broadcast traffic from the CPE device hanging off the cable modems to the Head Linux PC via the CMTS-C2200. We are seeing that the broadcast traffic is being broadcast from Linux PC – B, but it is not being seen by Linux PC – A or C. Even though Linux PC – B and C are on the same network. This is also true if Linux PC – A sends a broadcast message, Linux PC – B and C will not receive it. We are seeing that the CMTS-C2200 is receiving lots of broadcast packets on the downstream, but none on the upstream.
Hi guys, we are running catv high-end application, right now we have DVB-C CATV and IPTV distribution, we use hdmi qam modulators, RF combiners and splitters, for IPTV we use cisco switches. We would like to try to go with DOCSIS standarts, what equipment we need to buy and from where to start? Thank you!
I am unable to remove manual IP binding from the dhcp pool so I may use them again for another modem. I am using the no version of the command.
TO ADD -
ip dhcp pool cm-ups-000b.c914.1E63
host 10.1.0.89 255.255.0.0
client-identifier 0100.0bc9.141E.63
!
exit
TO REMOVE -
NO ip dhcp pool cm-ups-000b.c914.1E63
NO host 10.1.0.89 255.255.0.0
!
exit
This is not working. Does anyone have any suggestions?
We have a scenario we are trying to solve using the IPDR-CPE-TYPE but have not found a work around yet.
Is there a way for the CPE-TYPE IPDR record to pull more than 1 IP address when the same MAC is used?
We see some customers have a Cable Modem in “bridge mode” and a CPE device behind the cable modem that has two or more IPs on a single MAC address.
