Hello,
I'm experimenting with Docsis 3.1 on a Cisco cbr8 (downstream only at this time). I have a downstream setup and am awaiting a couple of modems to arrive to test my setup. Does anyone know if there is anything specific that needs to be done in the config file for the modem to help out and take advantage of the new carriers?
I am trying to increase our downstream bonding from 4 to 8 in our UBR10K. I have a tight budget and was looking to add 10000-SIP-600 and SPA-24XDS-SFP’s to make the transition to 8 downstreams. Our current setup consist of PRE2’s and MC20x20 cards. Will the attached layout of the port assignments work with using the DS from the card as primary for timing? Any suggestions and sample configs would be appreciated. I don’t currently have a time server and haven’t bought any cards yet.
Thanks
Current Hardware-
2x PRE2
2x DTCC
4x HH-1G
7x MC20x20V
I am having high cpu usage problem on cmts ubr10k with PRE-4 board. See attached files that when the cpu got high appeared the message% SNMP-3-INPUT_QFULL_ERR in the logging system of cmts.
I already configured acl for snmp-server. Cmts only accepts snmp request from my servers.
Does anyone have any idea how to solve this problem?
I have a very simple config file in use on my system. Cisco EPC3940 modems are coming online without problems and working perfectly. EPC3925 is not.
What am I missing ?

Good afternoon folks,
We are a US based broadband integrator (we build the physical layer of headends). We are looking for other businesses we can partner with that can provide the next layer of expertise such as CMTS configurations, test, turnup and break/fix as well as Network (Core, distribution, access, etc) config, test, turnup and breakfix.
We are not interested in the OEM's (Arris, Casa, Cisco) because they have their own integration services.
Does this forum know of any that we could reach out to? We are looking at DTI but would love to interview some more.
I am having issues setting the arrisCmDoc30AccessClientSeed. We use Promptlink for provisioning. I generated the encoded seed with PacketACE and populated it in our config file. The issue we have is the modem gets stuck at init(o) with this in the file. When we remove it, it goes right online. Modem in question is a DG1670A with software 9.1.103AS.
Documentation for firmware 8.1 states that the BSR supports 24 channel bonding as of 8.0. However, I am able to create 32 channel bonding groups without issue when running 8.1. 32 channel modems come up fully bonded in a lab environment.
Are there any limitations or reasons that Arris did not include 32 channel bonding in the release notes?
