During the marketing process, Jinghong sees a huge potential for satellite TV service providers in providing Internet service. The satellite TV providers has a coaxial distribution network, which allows Internet services with DOCSIS technology applicable.
The solution of Internet over Satellite TV network from Jinghong requires very limited investment both in time and in harware, simply by adding headend equipment and DOCSIS cable modems at users end, it is highly practical to bring extra value to existed coax network.
I would like to know how can I use the Arris C4 CMTS as M-CMTS.
I know the Cisco version: 3Gx60 with gigabit DEPI tunnel and any RFGW. (1 or 10) There is a time server what connected both.
But not clear for me how can I make this with Arris .
Arris have RFGW too called Arris D5.
The D5 has DTI port for the time server, it is clear.
On the C4 chassis where is the DTI port?
Where are the ports for DEPI? Perhaps the RCM ports are reconfigurable?
After a recent RFGW install, we have a handful of Motorola SB6120/SB6121s that won't bond to wideband channels. We know it's a firmware problem because we have other modems on newer firmware that are working.
Would anyone be able to help me find firmware and the CVC for these?

Hi ,
I am using CISCO CBR8 CMTS using 8 DS with 2 U/S channel bonding . Issue is that , modem is releasing both D/S and U/S channel bonding and locking on singh D/S and U/s channels however RF level is ok with good SNR. On restart of cable modem is locks all 8 D/S and 2 U/s for some time and after couple of hours same issue. This issue is across all ports/ Line cards
