I am trying to configure a way of copying automatically a file from the CMTS's directory to a TFTP Server and sending it via email based on a schedule.
I only see imap/pop3 options as a part of an access-lists and adding an email address but i can't figure out how to send an email from the CMTS

Maybe a script could help you. It can login to your cmts and places there a copy running-config tftp-server command.
