We are currently running some of our nodes with 4 upstreams. We typically use 1 3.2mhz and 3 6.4mhz upstreams bonded. I noticed that the CMTS throws a warning for the upstreams that are 6.4 vs 3.2 with regards to the power levels.
If I set all of the upstreams to the same power level, the CMTS will complain with a message like the following:

Config Warning - Config of 5/0 (130 tdB) does not conform to maintaining equal power/hertz with 5/2 (100 tdB). Some performance degradation may occur on 5/0.

We have two CMTS, one configured to work for DOCSIS & other for Euro DOCSIS.
Can we club the network in one and migrate all DOCSIS customers to Euro DOCSIS or vice versa ?
What changes required to execute this migration?

I'm looking for the newer firmware than epc3208g-E10-5-v302r125562-130611c-CVC060414.p7b
for EPC3208G (H.W 1.0) cable modem. The newer firmware I'm looking for must be with
signaling of mgcp (not SIP) - E10 or E15 must be included in the name of the firmware.

The latest firmware for epc3208 without Gateway (which I have) is e3200-E15-16-c1000r5593-170925c.p7b,
so it should be a firmware e3200g-E15-16-c1000r5593-170925c.p7b for gateway version. :-)

Hi,

I would like to configure/enable TR-069 option that the ACS server will recognize the modem.
I know that TR-069 parameters could be set via DHCP option 125 or via TLV202 in CM config file.

Does anybody have some experience related to Docsis and TR-069?
My CPE is Ubee EVW32C.

I am using a realtelk router and my ISP using docsis 3.0 cable modem and their connectivity type is DHCP. But when try I connect my router with my cable modem it facing problem to get IP lease. It's get an IP and after every 22 seconds it again send request for the IP lease and link fluctuate...But when I statically set this IP there is no problem. We got some trace from server. Here this is..

This topic drives me nuts from time to time. We receive calls from customers that they don't have internet, when the cable modem is fine. Remote rebooting of the cable modem has no affect.

This only happens with "wired" modems. We had one customer it would happen to them at 5 minutes on the dot. I believe it is related to load balancing as when I mess with it, it seems to go away, but I can't find a way to log LB moves so I can go back and find exactly what happened.

Anyone know how to reset the FEC counters on the Arris SB6190?
We used to use the CM820A which you could reset through the modem's web interface.

I can't find any snmp oids or anything through the web interface to do this...
