Hello we are running an Arris C3 CMTS and we have 3 pools for CM, HOST, and MTA
The hosts and CM get correct addresses but there is a problem with the MTA, it gets an IP from the Host's pool..
IS there a way to differentiate the MTA to get an IP address from the desired pool?
We have a problem changing the provisioning server not working. We're in process to replace the provisioning server. First we probed version 4.1.1 ISC Dhcp in ubuntu 11.4. This is what we got:
Has anyone had any success encrypting there MTA configs with arris modems? I'm having trouble finding any details on how this is done. I'm using SIP and GUPI currently.
Is there some way to view the same information displayed in the diagnostic page of a
specific Cable Modem (i.e. 192.168.100.1), but from the CMTS side??
Our customer in Europe wants to bond 8 downstreams in two groups of four. These two groupings are around 300MHz apart. We sent a TCM 470 which claims "64 MHz capture window split into two windows of 32 MHz thanks to the integrated dual tuner solution". Our customer reported that though he could use two groups of four, all 8 channels had to be within a 100 MHz block of spectrum. Our distributor said our customer was wrong, but then he did his own testing and agreed that the TCM470 didn't have two fully independent tuners.
