I'm trying to extract the accounting informations of our customers under IPDR.
We do have a CASA CMTS and a IPDR perl implementation, butonly SAMIS1 Schema is working...
The main thing that I want to do is to have the SAMIS1 information plus the CPE IP addres
Is there a way to have this?
Suppose I set a new password from GUI for modem. So how to check what is the user name and password of my modem,in case if I forget. How can I check the password and username. When I am walk on to the MIB "cmConfigMtaObjects" , not able to find for all ARRIS LGI modems. Is there any other MIB in SNMP to check ? Please help me out.
I have UBR7426 and 2 types of DOCSIS modems.
One is DOCSIS 1.0 and working fine with UBR7426.
The other one is DOCSIS 2.0 but doesn't seem to connect to UBR7426.
I don't have any clue.
Here is a log captured from UBR7426. And I also attached a log from CM.
Can someone let me know what is wrong with my configuration?
Currently using a 7246VXR with MC28Us and would like to see if there is any chance to get D3.0 going for cheap. From what research I've done so far it looks like this might have a chance.
UBR10k with 5x20 cards.
PRE2 or PRE4?
SIP-600
SPA-24XPS-SFP
DTCC cards
Harmonic NSG 9116
No DTI server.
From what I can gather from the docs a DTI server is not strictly required if a few limitations are adhered to. No Docsis 1.x or 2 modems can be used on the e-qam and the primary enabled Docsis 3 channel must be on the 5x20 card.
I'm having some issues getting Arris 820 to come online at all, in any mode, without configuring a custom RCS, but the issue is that I can only get a 4x4 profile to work. This creates issues since my other EPC3010's etc starts using that RCS, which interferes with my strategy for capacity.
Setup is:
8/0/0 = 4x Primary DS 338,346,354,362 Mhz ( MAC domain interface.. )
8/0/1 = 4x non-primary DS 562,570,578,586 same SG as 8/0/0
8/0/4 = 4x non-primary rf-spanned between 8/0/0-8/0/1 8/0/2 - 8/0/3 SG's at DS 530,538,546,554 Mhz
Sorry yet another stupid question .. am learning as I go ...
I have been collecting CPE->CM information via the CPE-Type IPDRs i.e. it reports CPEIPv4,CPEIPv6 & CMMac address,
I was asked today if its possible to get this without the CPE-Type IDPR,
And it looks like yes i.e. CMTS can report CPEIPAddress(s) in SAMIS IPDR but normally is disabled by default, to reduce IPDR size
So I guess short version is if its juts a configuration on CMTS to enable the CPEIPAddress field in the SAMIS-IPDR type ?
