does anyone know if and how to do a complete factory reset on a SEM V12? I'm having an issue after changing the IP address along with the subnet and gateway. now it wont let me in other than with the serial cable??

I'm having an issue regarding with the cable modems from cisco 7246. But now I'm transferring them to CISCO UBR10K with new DS and US channels. These cable modems only recognized the previous DS and US channels(last settings). And now as I transferred them to new UBR10K , the UBR cannot detect any cable modems. Do we have a command for this so that the cable modems can scan the new DS and US channels? Thanks in advance

I have problems: Cable Modem do not go online

I have a weird one, Cisco 10k on PRE5's

I have one mac-domain that a few random 32 channel modems refuse to come online.

I'm working on setting up a l2vpn connection from a Cisco CMTS UBR 10012 to Juniper EX 9000.

I'm trying to avoid MPLS, and using the dot1q xconnect from the 10012.

I've been working on setting up a redirect for our HFC plant, few options that I've tried to varying levels of success.

Created a interface sub-bundle, bundel1 and bundle1.1.

bundle1 is our normal bundle we use, all docsis ip's and host ip's are delivered from this, all docsis ip's are fixed address, no dynamic dhcp, all publics are dynamically assigned via DHCP, works fine in daily operation.

For example.
Cable modem ip - 10.10.1.1
Public IP - 8.8.8.9
