I have a Arris CMTS 1500. I noticed that when I hooked it up to replace my Arris CMTS 1000 that 50 of my 85 CMs were stuck in a "Registration Request" state. After much research I determined that the 50 CMs were Ambit CMs that were docsis 2.0. I guess what I need is a CM config file that disables the docsis 2.0 stuff. Can anybody help out? Also, does anybody have a list of what the TLVs are?
I switched CMTSs because the Arris TM502Gs (combination CM and MTA for VoIP) do not support docsis 1.0. The CMTS 1500 is 1.1. I have an Arris support contract and will contribute help to anybody the needs it. The problem is that the support contract does not include CMTSs. I do have the documentation for the CMTS 1500 if any one needs it. BTW, does anyone have the latest firmware for the CMTS 1500? I have 3.99.51, but I this the newest is 4.3.

Try using DocsisTwoEnable 0; in your CM files.

I thought I tried that and it didn't work. Isn't that line for disabling the DOCSIS 2.0 features on a DOCSIS 2.0 CMTS? I'm not sure that DOCSIS 1.1 knows about that line.
