The BSR1k is domestic or euro via hardware. it's docsis 1.1. you need to change downstream modulator for one thing. not worth the trouble. the 2000 supports docsis 2.0 and can be configured to support domestic, euro and J docsis. why some replies mentioned config changes
Some people mentioned to me that early BSR 1000 units (with the Riverdelta brand, before Moto bought them) were actually possible to configure for DOCSIS or EuroDOCSIS, but none of the 10+ units I have laid hands on have had that feature. It's odd that it is mentioned in the management guide, though.
The BSR 2000 is definitely configurable as mentioned earlier, but your BSR 1000 is most likely not.

I have no idea.
Maybe you need a newer firmware or this BSR1000 work only in eurodocsis mode.
