I have recently acquired a CUDA 12000 system and can't login. I get to the prompt but when I type in the username it just disappears and brings me back to the prompt. I have tried the method described in another post in this forum called "recently aquired CUDA 12000 and need some help" but it does not work for me. The system hangs at enabling swap. Can anyone give me a hand. Thanks in advance!
I have a problem on a CMTS Motorola BSR 1000. it stopped working and just lit the Fail LED on the front panel. fuse is not and what I could see that the source powering the board. anybody has a clue when it happens? which component might be faulty?
I know that there was a lots of posts regarding the docsis-server 3.5. I wonder what happened that the DHCP part of the server keeps crashing. Was the source updated lately? Is it possible that someone sends me a version that works, i tried to compile it on centos 5.8 and debian 6, in both cases same result... when the CM boots dhcp crashes
I have several BSR2000 CMTS, which eventually restarted, if one or more of its ports in return gets no signal.
For example when I have a single node fails, either because of lack of energy or by any court of fiber. After some time without reply in the port (U0, U1, U2 or U3), the CMTS restarts it.
Does anyone know if this behavior is part of its setting, or a problem of firmware?
The 4 that I have do the same, even one that was a BSR1000 also behaves the same way.
I'm using US Drop Classifier to discard some unwanted traffic but I cannot make it to work. Is it necessary some commands on the CMTS side to support the Drop Classifiers?
The message I see being passed between CMTS and CM annouces Upstream Drop Classifier Support : 0, so I think this might be the reason the drop classifiers aren't showing up on the CM.
I am running docsis 1.1 with cisco ubr7200VXR IOS 12.2(33)SCE5, with modem motorola SB5101i. I am using static service flow with two service (voice and data). I made clasifier based on udp port of voice. the plant testing is: phone and pc (both of them will get IP DCHP) connected to router (nat), router conected to modem. the result is modem and pc already get IP DCHP from router, but when I do call and browsing, both of them traffic comes in to primary DS dan US.
