Hello,
We are working on upgrade of the bsr64000 to release 6.4.2.2 .
We have etherflex module with 1 giga port, with the following version:
Slot15 HSIM 1-port GIGE Multimode (GIGE) Versions:
Boot ROM: RDN ROM Version: 5.0.0.45 Creation Date: Mon Mar 29 14:45:33 EDT 2010
Image: 5.2.1P37.H41.KRBU
Date Built: Mon Mar 29 15:59:30 EDT 2010
CPU: RDN Inc. HSIM8260 -- MPC8260 PowerQUICC II HSIM
Memory Size: 64 MB
Format Version: 9
Assembly Type : 6
Part Number : PCA-0087-03
HW Revision : E
Serial Number : 050*******
Product Number: BSR 64000
FPFE FPGA Version: 301C
BufMgr FPGA Version: 300A
BufMgr Chip Version: F9
Does this module compatible with software release 6.4.2.2 ?
Thank you in advance.
Regards, Eniac

1 The 8-Port 10/100 Ethernet, 1-Port SM Gig-E LX, and 1-Port SX Gig-E modules are not compatible with an RX48 module in a BSR 64000
Thank You. But I want to use it without RX48, only with 2:8 and TX32 cards.
What are you think about it?
Regards
will still work, the single gigE card is no longer supported. the dual gigE with 10/100 ports is fine. you'll need srm4 instead of srm3 as well. 2x8's and tx32 will work as well
your tx32 may become an issue due to the timing module. you didn't post that version, but it should look something like this
Slot09 DTX TX32 Domestic, 8 Downstream Ports with 4 Channels per Port Versions:
Boot ROM: 7.0.0.44
Mini ROM: TX32 Mini ROM Ver. 1.19

that version is fine, do not downgrade the bootroms. rule number one, upgrade to newer is ok, but to downgrade it may cause issues when they get upgraded down the road.
