converting DOCSIS cable modem for EuroDOCSIS operation

My company currently purchases a DOCSIS embedded cable modem module from an ODM and modifies it for use in our product. We are interested in selling this product in Europe and are trying to find all the changes necessary for it to work in a EuroDOCSIS system. So far we have changed the diplex filter and recompiled the application FW for EuroDOCSIS operation. From my research, some or all of the BPI+ certificates will have to be changed. Form our application, we are not worried about EuroDOCSIS certification and will not need to allow secure firmware downloads so I don't think the CVC is necessary.

I believe this is a list of all the certificates used in a DOCSIS modem:
1. DOCSIS Root CA Certificate , Public Key
2. Manufacturers CA Certificate, Public and Private Key
3. Manufacturers Code Verification Certificate (CVC), Public and Private Key
3. Cable Modem Certificate, Public and Private Key

My questions are as follows:
1. What are the minimum changes to the certificates necessary to work with EuroDOCSIS.
2. Can these changes be made without having the Manufacturer's Certificate?
3. Are any other changes necessary for EuroDOCSIS operation?

Hopefully my questions make sense, I'm still trying to understand all these certificates and keys

thanks
