I am in a pinch and hoping someone could point me to where I can get some instructions for swapping CMTS's. I have a failing Arris 1000, which I need to replace. I have remote access to both units, however, i am not sure how to get the exisitng cfg off the old CMTS & then paste it into the new one. Can anyone help me out?
I'm not aware of that possibility. It would require a server, and a copy of the good cfg on a thumb drive or elsewhere. From there, ...there are commands to load an image.
