newbie arris 1500

I am newbie in docsis system andright know testing to connect Motorola SB5101 to CMTS Arris 1500. I configure via CLI in standar configuration however, SB5101 still couldn't connected to cmts. Upstream and downstream frequency is connected an ranging completed but modem status stuck in "DCHP offer". I ran DHCP server from RedHat 9.
My question:
- is it possible to connected SB5101 to Arris CMTS without Provioning Software?
- Is there still use CMTS Arris 1500 and is in operation? Could you sent me your configuration?
- Is there any provioning software within easy to confiure but price is cheap? I tried to install "Autoboot" and "Docsis-Server" however still un-completed due I am new in linux operation.
