How to upgrade DOCSIS 3.1 firmware via TFTP server on a PC?

I need to upgrade DOCSIS transponder 3.1 firmware on Alpha XM3.1-905-HP power supply, via SFP transceiver, ethernet cable and TFTP server on personal computer.

I've installed SolarWinds TFTP server on a PC, configured server bindings to IP address, and copied firmware and config file into TFTP default folder (C:\TFTP-Root).

The IP address of network adapter assigned to TFTP server is set to 192.168.2.20, subnet mask is set to 255.255.255.0.

I've inserted SFP transceiver (10Gtek ASF-10G2-T) into power supply and connect it to the above-mentioned network adapter on PC with ethernet cable (Cat. 8).

I've put IP address in the same range as the TFTP server, and set it to 192.168.2.50, subnet mask is set to 255.255.255.0.

Also, I opened firewall port for TFTP (port 69) to allow traffic. Then I went to the power supply’s web interface and navigate to the firmware update section.

I entered the TFTP server’s IP address, the firmware file path and initiate the firmware update process from the transponder side.

But I'm constantly getting an error, and power supply won't download the file.

Could anyone please tell me what I'm doing wrong, and how to set up the connection?

just a thought

with the file in the tftp folder you should only need the ip address and filename. don't add the path, that would only be needed if tftp server was wide open for access to any file in any folder.
try just the ip address and filename and should work. from tftp pc ping the power supply to confirm connectivity
