Hi
We are an ISP and we have some Arris DG1670A cable modem and they do not allow remote access by the Ip Wan.
In the interface web you do not have an option to enable remote access.
can you help me with the necessary oid to enable remote access with snmp
regards
Hi
With this oid:
snmpset -r 0 -v2c -c public 10.8.117.151 1.3.6.1.4.1.4115.1.3.4.1.2.6.0 i 1
I was able to open the cable modem configuration page
I enter username and password and it tells me that they are invalid
what is the correct username and password, or what is needed to log in ?
please help me
Arris modems use a password of the day feature that is based on a DES Seed
see: This post for some more details.
Hi
With the previous snmp command I can open the modem page with the wan ip (as shown in the screenshot-1),
my intention is to be able to modify the WIFI (network name or password)
I enter the Wireless option in the upper menu, this opens another page where it asks me username and password (as shown in the screenshot-2), these are the data that I require, How to know what is the correct username and password (I understand that to log in in this part I do not require the password of the day, as if requested if I choose the option Advanced from the menu above
Please help me with this, so I can log in and change the WIFI configuration by choosing only the wireless option
Been a while since I used Arris modems,
I think the default password is password, but if I remember right, that only works from the LAN side, if you access it over the HFC, you have to use the technician user/password combo
user: technician
password: Password of the Day
According to this website it could be a number of things:
