Does anyone here have any experience with the provisioning software DOXcontrol by Cablesight? Or their “ModemPad” config creator? There is a listing on this site and others that says it works with MTA’s and VOIP but I’ve had trouble using it for VOIP with the Arris 1500 CMTS DOCSIS 1.1 and the Arris 402P w/ MTA.
I’m using a private set of IP’s. I can see the MTA’s inside the software on the “MTA” tab and they have been assigned a CPE address. I can ping the MTA, I can hit 20 Mbps down, 2 Mbps up but the VOIP provisioner can’t see the MTA devise in the Arris modem. Other modems with ATA’s have no trouble working. They boot up in minutes of being provisioned and work just fine.
Any suggestions or recommendations would be appreciated.
Thanks
I talked to Jim Lacey of Laceytech and he assured me his software would work with the Arris MTA's. He put a server together for me, shipped it overnight and now it does exactly what he said it would do. It works!
Easy to use and Jim went the extra mile for me.
