Hello guy's
What i need is to compile a cmfile that will work on motorola and cisco as 3.0 , i managed to build docsis 3.0 for cisco modem's but motorola won't use the same to be 3.0 it goes into 2.0 mode.
Are the bounding groups problem or what, is there a difference between cmfile doc 3.0 for Motorola and Cisco some mib generating that problem or what.
Tnx in fron ;)
You should be able to use the same config file on each (As long as you use the non-vendor-specific MIBs)
However it would be more typical to make a different version of each config file to suit each vendor.
That way you can in put the appropriate vendor CVC in there to allow firmware upgrades, and also set some other per-vendor specific MIBs if needed.
Have you ever got your Motorola modems working in bonding mode? If not it may be a problem with the way you have your CMTS configured that is preventing the Motorolas from bonding. Eg wide / non-contiguous spacing of DS channels
Perhaps post the settings from your config file, so we can look over them and see if there is anything wrong.
