There is two Cisco CMTS: one 7246, and another 10012.
Cisco 10012 case:
When one modem goes offline, then this CMTS immediately delete the
CPE IP address from the own CPE database. -> this is Bad
(If i run 'show cable modem aaaa.bbbb.cccc' then i see that NumCPE is reset to 0)
Cisco 7246 case:
When one modem goes offline, then this CMTS _NOT_ delete the
CPE IP address from the own CPE database.
(If i run 'show cable modem aaaa.bbbb.cccc' then i see that NumCPE is unchanged)
So this CMTS keep the CPE IP address despite of the modem is offline.
And this is very good for me!
But how can i to induce the 10012 to behave in the same way?
