I'm trying to setup 32 node clusters off the 3GV60 cards on a Cisco UBR 10012. I want to stripe them across a cluster of 4 Cisco RFGW 1's. For example.
RFGW1 port 1 goes to 5/0/0 on CMTS 3GV60 card
RFGW2 port 1 goes to 5/0/2 on CMTS 3GV60 card
RFGW3 port 1 goes to 5/0/4 on CMTS 3GV60 card
RFGW4 port 1 goes to 6/1/0 on CMTS 3GV60 card
depi-tunnel RFGW1-1
depi-tunnel RFGW2-1
depi-tunnel RFGW3-1
depi-tunnel RFGW4-1
So I want to do the following, my question is if I can mix and match depi-tunnels/3GV60 cards, I have 4 tunnels fed to RFGW by two different 3GV60 cards. Since the 3GV60 cards only have 3 1 GB ports, each 1 GB port on the RFGW feeds 3 physical RF ports (at 8 QAMS per port).
Cable 5/0/0
downstream Modular-Cable 5/0/0 rf-channel 0-7 using RFGW1-1 - port 1 on RFGW1
downstream Modular-Cable 5/0/1 rf-channel 0-7 using RFGW2-1 - port 1 on RFGW2
downstream Modular-Cable 5/0/2 rf-channel 0-7 using RFGW3-1 - port 1 on RFGW3
downstream Modular-Cable 5/0/0 rf-channel 16-23 using RFGW4-1 - port 1 on RFGW4
Cable 5/0/1
downstream Modular-Cable 5/0/0 rf-channel 8-15 using RFGW1-1 - port 2 on RFGW1
downstream Modular-Cable 5/0/1 rf-channel 8-15 using RFGW2-1 - port 2 on RFGW2
downstream Modular-Cable 5/0/2 rf-channel 8-15 using RFGW3-1 - port 3 on RFGW3
downstream Modular-Cable 5/0/1 rf-channel 16-23 using RFGW4-1 - port 4 on RFGW4
Cable 6/1/0
downstream Modular-Cable 6/1/0 rf-channel 0-7 using RFGW1-1 - port 3 on RFGW1
downstream Modular-Cable 6/1/0 rf-channel 8-15 using RFGW2-1 - port 3 on RFGW2
downstream Modular-Cable 6/1/0 rf-channel 16-23 using RFGW3-1 - port 3 on RFGW3
downstream Modular-Cable 6/1/1 rf-channel 0-7 using RFGW4-1 - port 3 on RFGW4
Your "striping" design seems unnecessarily complicated
How many nodes (service groups) are there ?
How many DS do you want per node (service group) ?
How many 3G60 cards do you have, and what license eg 72x60
How many RFGW1 do you have? Are they 12 port / 96 QAM ?
