Have one modem that doesn't transmit on correct US TX level.
The modem is only transmitting at 34.5 and the RX on cmts is -9.
The modem is supposed to adjust its transfer levels up until US RX is 0, but it doesnt.
What can be the cause of this? Faulty modem?
two things to do, check modem tr/rx levels from same neighborhood to see what those modems are transmitting at.
second, connect a return signal generator at the ground block or tap and confirm levels at test point back at the headend.
last, try different modem to confirm tx/rx
