Hello Carlos,
I'm looking for a way to read out the remote query data collected by the CMTS via SNMP such as DS SNR, US Power which I didn't find in the standard DOCS-IF-MIB and my version of RDN-CMTS-MIB is too old, the CMTS spits out a lot of data in the RDN vendor specific domain which I can't identify. Cisco has a vendor specific MIB for accessing the remote query data (CISCO-DOCS-REMOTE-QUERY-MIB) and I wonder if there is something similar for the BSR64000.
Thanks in advance!
Here are the mibs that are in use here for our BSR. I do NOT know if these are specifically related, as I'm still trying to figure out the plant that was here when I arrived. These are from our old provisioning server:
Hello,
thanks, I think that is the one I am looking for. The RDN-CMTS-MIB I have is way too old (2001-2003) and the CMTS provides info in the range I cannot understand. Do you have a more recent version of that specific MIB file?
Thanks in advance!
thanks, email is my nickname at gmail. In the meantime cmcaldas helped me out with a good collection, and the MIB I was looking for in the package was from 2013, it managed to answer my questions. However I accept any good advice and material (manuals, documentation etc) :)
Hi Eddie
What data are you looking to get? remote query is used to get modem info like levels and modem firmware.
data usage should be done via ipdr

Hi Eddie
What software release are you running? I can double check the mibs I have to double check
I am using the same version, did not touch it after.
There is a show version included in the file at http://docsis.org/files/bsr.txt
Hi Eddie
I don't have time to go over all the mibs, I can email all the mibs if you post your email. you can walk them and use what you need
you've already got my email address, I've even sent you an email about 3 weeks ago ;) but I'll send you another one for reminder.
Are you talking about
scm remote-query
scm remote-query version

1.3.6.1.2.1.69.1.2.1.2.1
1.3.6.1.2.1.69.1.2.1.3.1
These ones are standard Docsis.
The MIB you are looking for is RND-CMTS-MIB.
Look at the rdnRQueryCmts entries.
