1.) Power system off then back on
2.) Press key to stop auto-boot
3.) At prompt, enter c and then Enter
4.) Press Enter until line flags (f) appears.
5.) Enter the value of 0x10. This flag will bypass the startup-config.
6.) Type p and Enter to verify that the flags have been changed.
7.) Type @ to continue the boot process.
8.) When the prompt is available, type enable.
9.) Type show run and read the password at the enable password 0
10.) Type reload and confirm
11.) At prompt, enter c and then Enter
12.) Press Enter until line flags (f) appears.
13.) Enter the value of 0x00. This flag will return the BSR to the normal boot process.
14.) Type p and Enter to verify that the flags have been changed.

I have done this but in step 5. i can't change the value. I get an error message about this.
