WE are trying to setup a 16x4 and 8X4 config on our 10K ubr. With this config we are see most docsis 3 subscribers bonding at 5x4, a few at 8x4, some do not bond at all. 16x4 test modem will not bond at 16x4. Overall we are see less Wideband modems about73, than our original config. With our original config we see about 132 wideband out of about 252 modems with most at 8x3, with only three upstream configured.
We are using the 20x20 cards

You need to upgrade your IOS :
* 16 x DS bonding requires IOS 12.2(33)SCH1 or later
* 24 x DS bonding requires IOS 12.2(33)SCH2 or later
And with your config :
* delete cable upstream bonding-group 2, it is not needed
* delete interface Wideband-Cable6/1/0:1, it is not needed
* you have an 8-way from ch 0-7, I would add a 2nd 8-way for ch 8-15
* you have a 4-way for ch 0-3, If you have a lot of 4x4 modems, I would also add 4-way groups for ch 4-7, 8-11, 12-15
* you are leaving a lot of upstream channels unused and/or stranded, seems a bit wasteful. Some alternate suggestions here http://www.docsis.org/node/2355
* for better performance on the 3.2MHz upstreams, change the minislots to 4
* in your fiber-node, it should be us connector 0-3 not 0-4
