ubr10K m-cmts DS speed limit

Using ubr10K 12.2(33)SCF4 + PRE2 + 8 MC 5x20H-D + Wideband SPA + rfgw-1-d. Without DTI server.
The DS bonding group contains one DS from card 5x20 and seven from wideband SPA. The US bonding group contains two US from card DS 5x20.
Can't get more 120 Mbit/s speed in DS. Tried modems Cisco 3208G and Thomson THG571K.

Maybe there are some limitations with this configuration/equipment?

I'm new to this so I'm not

I'm new to this so I'm not sure if this has any effect on your hardware/software setup but I don't see any reserved bandwidth remaining ratio settings in your config.
Something like:

interface Wideband-Cable1/0/0:0
cable bundle 1
cable rf-channel 0 bandwidth-percent 1 remaining ratio 100
cable rf-channel 1 bandwidth-percent 1 remaining ratio 100
cable rf-channel 2 bandwidth-percent 1 remaining ratio 100
cable rf-channel 3 bandwidth-percent 1 remaining ratio 100
cable rf-channel 4 bandwidth-percent 1 remaining ratio 100
cable rf-channel 5 bandwidth-percent 1 remaining ratio 100
cable rf-channel 6 bandwidth-percent 1 remaining ratio 100

I'm new so I may be way off but there's something to check anyway. Hope this helps.

Not helped

I tried, but the problem persists.

try

Turn on dynamic bw sharing

serykh
Tried

Tried turn on dynamic bw sharing, speed has not change.

Capm
change

change your interleave to 32, and change your cable default-phy-burst to 0

serykh
Anex A

I use annex A in which fixed interleave 12. Change cable default-phy-burst to 0 slightly increases the speed by about 1-2 Mbps. I would like to get 300 - 350 Mbps.

Capm
ah

I didn't see that annex A. I think your problem lays in your wideband channel setup though, take a look through this thread,

Your mean your DUT is

Your mean your DUT is provisioned with 1*2 Channel Bonding?
One DS channel with Annex A can reach to about 40 Mbps
One DS channel with Annex B can reach to about 30 Mbps.

serykh
I checked

DUT is connected 8x2. I even made a 8x3 and see:

#sh cable modem wideband channel
MAC Address IP Address I/F MAC DSxUS Primary
State WB
28be.XXXX.XXXX 172.16.2.84 C5/0/1/UB w-online(pt) 8x3 Wi1/0/0:0

on the modem I also see 8x3

I think the problem with software

Edge QAM Cisco rfgw-1-d. Used version 06.00.12. No error messages in the logs. Interfaces there are no errors.
ubr10K 12.2(33)SCF4 + PRE2 + 8 MC 5x20H-D + Wideband SPA + rfgw-1-d. Without DTI server. No error messages in the logs. Interfaces there are no errors.
Everything is set up according to the instructions and no problems with installation did not happen.
The test computer is connected to a Gigabit switch shows 700/700 Mbps.
The same computer connected to the modem (8x3) shows 125/25 Mbps. Gigabit port CMTS 50% load.
Tried modems Cisco 3208G (the router is turned off) and Thomson THG571K

Can anyone have a newer version? serykh%etc%mail.ru

I agree the speed doesn't

I agree the speed doesn't seem right, you should be able to achieve faster.

If you web browser into the modem GUI, is there a page which lets you look at packet counts per DS ?

The primary DS should have a small number of packets, ever increasing.

The other 7 DS should have larger and pretty even number of packets that increase rapidly when you run a speedtest or download.

The GUI page may also give correctable / uncorrectable counters. These should be a very small percentage of overall packet counts.

serykh%etc%mail.ru

I replaced the firmware in rfgw-1-d on 06.04.04 version the problem remained. Maybe there is someone ubr10k-fpd-pkg.122-33.SCF5.pkg? serykh etc mail.ru

Fiber node

What about your cable fiber node config. Can send the output?

serykh
Fiber node config

In the first message shows the configuration of the fiber node. Fiber node is valid.

Problem solved

Just a bad SFP module, error interface not shown.
