Upstrem channel bonding reduces the downstream speed?

Can someone explain me the behavior of modem (or CMTS) with US bounding ? I'm a little confused.

We have one modem with 8 DS 256QAM, CMTS Cisco UBR 7225.

1) 1 US without "cable mtc-mode" US bounding, channel width 6.4MHz, symbol rate 5.120, 64-QAM => speed 320x20 MBit.
2) 1 US with "cable mtc-mode" US bounding => speed 120x20 MBit.
3) Adding two US into bounding group (3 US in total) => speed 120x40 MBit.

Why the DS speed slow down?

You're right...something

You're right...something doesn't add up.

MTC mode is a must turn on feature - even if you're only using 1 US channel. It shouldn't impact the DS in this manner - so it's hard to say what's going on here. Also, 3 US channels should get closer to 60 up.

Are you changing your "cable map-advance" command from default perhaps? Have you verified you're bonding all 8 DS channels with MTC mode on and not getting only 4 DS channels?

Any other information you can provide could be helpful.

8 ds channels not verifed.

8 ds channels not verifed. There is no possibility.
cable map-advance not checked

speed

measured speed on speedtest.net
Torrent speed up to 200 mbit download. How to increase results in speedtest.net?
Thanks

Post some CMTS config

Post some CMTS config

Also perhaps cable modem config

what do you think about this?

I do not recommend rate-adapt

I do not recommend rate-adapt (try removing this)

I do not recommend scdma (try atdma instead)

sorry

This did not help :(
Please give me modem config file. I'm confused. High speed only in Torrent. And in speedtest.com speed is low (Down 70/ Up 50)
