We just installed a Arris C3 CMTS and are sending the IF output to a EMCEE Transmiter for our MMDS wireless cable plant. The CMTS does not seem to be outputing enough IF to allow the transmitter to come on line fully. Any ideas?
Are you sure you've connected your downstream to the right output plug on the C3? I had a lot of my techinicians connecting the wrong output. The correct one is the one to the far left, if you look at the CMTS from behind. The one labelled "Downstream IF", which is to the right of the upstreams, is NOT the correct one.
